Cattle at Tawharanui

Some of Auckland's Regional Parks are used to showcase sustainable farming. I met this herd of people friendly Hereford Cattle on the trail to Tokatu Point at the Tawharanui Regional Park. The Great Barrier Island is on the background. I will publish the spectacular view from Tokatu Point tomorrow so make sure to visit. Tawharanui

With more than 25 regional parks in Auckland, it is very difficult to decide to which one to head to any given weekend. At less than an hour drive north of Auckland, Tawharanui Regional park was the choice.
